Alphonsa Arts and Science College with one decade of service became a leading higher Educational institution in Wayanad which focuses on skill development of students along with knowledge acquisition. The institution is committed to empower and enriching young minds with knowledge and skill through systematic and technology enabled teaching and learning, research and extension activities. In line with the NEP 2020, we focus on Outcome Based Education (OBE) for the young generation comprising of minority and backward sections of the community including Scheduled Caste and scheduled Tribes.

The facilities at the college are well enough to develop the exposure of students in both curricular and extra-curricular activities. The academic achievements including University level rank in Post Graduate programme added glory to the institution. Students have proved their efficiency in Entrepreneurship, Sports, Social and Cultural activities under the guidance of statutory forums and Clubs such as the National Service Scheme (NSS), Entrepreneurship Development Club (ED Club), Career guidance and Counseling Centre and Tourism Club. The institution offers well-demanded and job-oriented programmes in Science, Arts, Literature, Commerce, Management and Tourism.
